These are two new concepts Chevy has shown at the 2012 North American International Auto Show.
Chevy supposedly interviewed America’s youth and came up with these to attract younger buyers (age late 20s early 30s).
They are called the Code 130R (shown in red) and Tru 140S (shown in silver) and are both coupes but very different in nature.
The Code 130R has a heritage performance look to it that reminds Jalopnik of the BMW 1-Series but it reminds me more of the Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT’s of the 1960s. Best thing about it? It’s rear-wheel drive.
The Tru 140s is not retro at all. It’s a sportier looking coupe that would be built on the Cruze platform although it looks like it could be mid-engined (yeah right I wish).
Jalopnik has nothing good to say about these concepts but I couldn’t disagree more. What do you think?
